Storage issues

craftgrrlI was wondering how people store paints that come in tubes, like those acyrilic ones you use for craft?
I have been storing mine in a bucket but I'm looking for something neater. I was also wondering how people store their sewing patterns? Mainly out of curiosity, I have mine in a box standing vertically so I can flip through them.
