for valentines day, i want to make my boyfriend and me pairs of matching mittens.

could anyone refer me to some mitten patterns on the internet? i checked the FAQ/memories section and couldn't come up with anything. i'd like to keep it fairly simple, as the only thing i've ever knitted before is a scarf.
