UNICORN POWER!
Nov. 27th, 2005 08:52 amIf you have never heard of the comic the Perry Bible Fellowship, you must go to the site or the comic archive right now after you click on the cut, and be prepared to laugh so hard that it feels like you're going to regurgitate some weird little creature.
Here's an example:

I love it so much that I made this:

Just the shirt, please:

In case you want to know how I made it: First I blew up the image to 8 x 10 in Photoshop. Then I drew over the pixelized mess with the pen tool, and printed it out to make a stencil. (I printed it out on the office printer, and before I could get the printout some of the office guys had already seen it, and were wondering, "all right, who's the sissy?" ;P) Cut around the outlines, including the black lines, and attached it to the shirt with spray adhesive. Painted it with three coats of white acrylic paint mixed with textile medium, then did the colors. The black outlines were freehanded with a fine brush and black airbrush paint, mixed with textile medium so it was wetter and easier to work with.
It took me a lot longer than I thought it would, and when it was finally done at 6 am I was so happy. As you can see...

UNICORN POWER!
EDIT: Thank you to everyone for the nice comments! :D
