Nov. 27th, 2005 10:51 pmI have a few friends who are using the Knifty Knitter and they needed some help finishing off their scarves, so I wrote a tutorial that I thought I would share.
So you've finished your scarf and want to end it.
Before you start, know that everything you will do know must be done VERY LOOSELY. Make big loops!!!!!
First, make sure you've ended your knitting to the left of the scarf. It should look like this:

Take your loose yarn and go under then over the first peg so you have two loops just on the first peg.

Take loop 1 and flip it over loop 2. Push loop 2 down and wrap the peg again so you have two loops on the peg again. Now flip over the "new" loop 1, so you just have one loop on the peg. Take that loop and transfer it to peg two.
Now you have two loops on peg two. Flip over the first loop, push down the the second loop, wrap the peg, and flip again. Take the left over loop and transfer it to peg three.
Keep going until you've finished the whole scarf.
