sorry it's a text-post ... but i was curious what you guys think about the customer service (not the desk, in general with their associates) at Jo-Ann's?

i'm usually pretty content with it... but today... i had 3 people snap at me (in 2 different departments)... one wasn't even my fault and the other two didn't even listen to me when i asked for a sample.

then the last person, just said, "just give her whatever she wants so you can get her out of here."

anyway, long story short... they were just really rude... i've been in retail for 8 years, i know how people are during the holidays... but i wasn't being one of "those" people... i clearly stated what i wanted, and the lady said i couldn't have the sample of a fabric 1" by 1" ... so, i said. that's fine... and she argued with me when i said that was weird because that's what i've always gotten in the past 2 to 3 years that i've been here... i wasn't trying to argue with her, but just stating what had happened in the past... and she snapped at me saying how she's been here for 3 months and everyone else was wrong... then she snapped at me again... when i didn't say anything.

the best part of it all was when she said, "we're here trying to sell fabric, not to support you."

maybe it's the holiday season... but it really changed my experience to Jo-Ann's.

and apparently, this also happened to one of my friend's mother last week... *shrugs*
