Hello all,
I hadn't finished anything in a bit, but had a looming deadline for the La Superette craft show that sparked my creativity.

This is from the pop culture series(if'n you can't tell, it's the girl from 'Night of the Living Dead')...

...and this one's from the Victorian series, where they're all based on mourning brooches I've seen.

This is stage 3 of the brooches- they're baked and glued but I haven't poured the resin yet.

I still have to glue on pinbacks or attach jump rings when necessary, but they're mostly done. For anyone who wants to pour resin, say for bottlecap necklaces or over photos, and have the SURFACE look shiny and finished, I highly recommend Envirotex's Pour-On. It's made for pouring on(what a surprise) surfaces to give them the appearance of varnish without the trouble, and it's perfect for any project where you want a beautiful, glossy surface. It's the opposite of what you'd want for mould-pouring, but for this it's much easier than using resin and having to scuff and shine the surface.

So that's my crafty update.
