Help with Snaps Kit?

I just bought this heavy duty snap kit to use on wallets, but the directions are pretty bad and I am stumped. If anyone has worked with snaps, can you help a girl out?


I am pretty sure I have figured out which snap pieces attach to which (top two A&B, bottom two C&D). It did not help that two of them look the same in the directions!


Here is where I am confused ~ these are the tools that were included. What are the last two? The directions say "insert attaching tool", but I don't know what that is. Is one a hole punch, and the other an attaching tool, or are they both attaching tools, but you are supposed to use a different one for each pair of snaps?
