Latest creations!
Dec. 2nd, 2005 02:48 amChecking in with a bunch of photos of all my latest creations! :)
First off, the hair-chopsticks I made for my sister!:

I bought a pack of 10 pairs of bamboo chopsticks at the local Asian foods market, for 99 cents, with the intention of making 10 pairs of usable hair-sticks, since sis loves to wear them in her hair. This is the first pair: Sharpened (in a pencil sharpener, though I wouldn't recommend it... o.O), painted purple, and with rainbow-varigated(sp?) crochet thread wrapped around the end. Leave a tassel, add a lime green button, and voila! :)
Next up, the bracelets I've made her so far! Please ignore my lousy photography. The hand model is one I made in ceramics back in highschool, and my rings are not handmade, just some I added for fun. :) More bracelets/photos to come later, but here's these:

My personal favorite, this one

These are actually two that I'm keeping for myself. They were heavily inspired by the candy-raver braclets that Reiko made/posted a while back. :)
And lastly, I forget who's original photos these were, but (s)he said they could be used for Christmas cards, so thats what I did, along with a few other photos. :) Printed on photo paper, glitter/glitter glue added, and mounted on card stock. :)

Oh, and here's some other cards I'd made this year: http://www.deviantart.com/view/25913379/ More crafty than the others, with felt and buttons and glitter and paint and cut paper, and... stuff. :)
Enjoy! :D
