floral candles, winnie the pooh picture frames

i just found this community yesterday (along with craftster - my new favorite site!), and i felt like sharing something.

i don't have any new projects yet - planning a bunch for christmas though - but here are a few things i've made in the past: candles with floral bases, and some picture frames.

(sorry some of the pics aren't so great.. with the exception of one, they were when i was still taking film pics and scanning them, but now i have a digital camera).


this was the first candle i ever made of this type. my piano/voice teacher of 4-5 years was leaving, so i wanted to make her a going away present. she seemed like a candle person, and i just finished learning fur elise, so...that's how that idea was born.

i don't know where the pics with other angles are anymore, but it probably looked better in those. and you can't see it, but it has flowers all around the base, like this one:



^ i made this for my boyfriend's mom last christmas.


made this for my boyfriend's sister last christmas, cuz she loves eeyore. when i gave it to her, i had paper that said "merry christmas yaneris" in gold calligraphy in the frame.


my sister liked the other frame a lot, and i had some winnie the pooh pieces left, so i made her this frame last christmas. sorry the pic's dark, but the flash was reflecting too much.
