Dec. 4th, 2005 03:26 pmSo, I'm just about as fed up with my sewing machine as you could imagine. I've been trying to get the stuipid thing to work for months, and it just isn't happening. I've asked for help from my aunt, who has been sewing for 40+ years, and she can't seem to figure out what is wrong with it either.
So, now here's my problem. I have a time-extensive project that I need to get started on like, last week. I'm making a t-shirt quilt for my boyfriend's birthday, which is in January.
Now, my questions: How difficult is to sew a quilt, by hand? It's obviously going to take a lot more time, and a lot more effort, but is it humanly possible to sew it by hand, make it strong enough, and make it... perfect?
Any advice and/or help is going to be greatly appreciated.
