mini sewing machine

this weekend i saw a little mini-sewing machine at a.c. moore for $10.
i couldn't find it on their website, and can't remember the brand name. it wasn't one of those handheld ones, it looked like a regular sewing machine, but much smaller.

so my question is, does anyone have any experience with these? i don't have enough money to buy a real sewing machine and was wondering how crappy/good these are and if it would be a waste of $10?
