craftgrrl | Xmas gift ~ Pirate Shirt

I just finished up this T-shirt for a teenage girl I know from church. (It is actually a gift from her fiance's mother, if she remembers that she asked me to make it!) Her knick-name is "Captain Skittles", like a pirate captain, so I know she is going to love this shirt ;)

And what did my husband say when he saw the stencil?
"Yar! Taste the Rainbow!"

I used freezer paper and acrylic paint + textile medium for the stencil. The image is from the typical pirate flag (just google it & you will get tons) ~ I edited it a little and added in text in font "Black Night". The shirt is a long sleeved tee in a really nice heather gray.
