Embossing on glass?
Dec. 14th, 2005 07:52 pmI saw a segment on the Carol Duval show today talking about embossing on glass candle holders.
What they did:
Using an embossing ink pen, they drew the design on the glass, then dumped some embossing powder on it. Dumped off the excess, then ran the heat gun on it just like you would on a card.
Now, I'm wondering if anyone has tried something like this, as I am a little concerned with how the heat from the candle effects the embossed part.....would the votive holder heat up too much and just re-melt the embossing powder or would it need to be hotter......
If it doesn't re-melt it, this would make a wonderful gift idea. Tons of posibilities.....
