Jumping on the Knifty Kniffer Wagon...

My first attempt-- I made a red hat for a good friend of mine's son. He loves red and he loves cars...hopefully, he'll love this hat.

I'm learning to knit "for real"-- right now I'm knitting a scarf just doing the basic knit stitch. I haven't even tried to learn to purl, yet. But, I'm using Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick...based on the recommendation of someone in here on someone else's post. I was having a lot of trouble teaching myself, until I got some bigger needles and thicker yarn.

I will post pics when I'm done with my scarf...I think I will make a hat on the Knifty Knitter to match.
