hello my fellow crafty peeps!
i've had this one black purse with creme embroidery for like 5 years now, and i loved it because it went with just about everything. a pen bled all over one part of it and colored the embroidery so that it looks like some of the embroidery is missing, and then in my latest car accident i got coffee all over it. and so i threw it away in disgust that i get in so many car accidents. that purse was just 2 rectangles & lining sewn together, and i am all about making my own embroidery stuff right now, so i've decided to make my own purse.
i was at the post office and found the free envelopes of that lovely indestructible tyveck stuff. i was thinking of using this as a stabilizer for my purse-to-be, because i tend to use things till they fall apart on me. i remember people going crazy for the stuff in here a while ago, but it isn't in the memories and either i'm spelling it wrong or the
craftgrrl googling isn't finding it. does anyone have any experience/ideas/words of wisdom for me as i go to use this stuff in sewing?
and naturally, so that this isn't just text, here's yet another patch i've made. i've been fiddling with the different fill patterns to see what kinds of effects i can get. and i'm getting better at color choices compared to my first round of patches.
