glove pattern needed!

so, like the deep-down nerd that i am, i've begun venturing into the world of cosplaying. this year, i'm planning on going as nausicaa from the miyazaki movie of the same name. not wanting to make my costume at the last minute like i did last year (limited time + limited sewing skills + lots of stress = BAD IDEA) i'm starting on it now with my plans to wear it in may. the thing is, she's got these gloves and i have no idea how to make gloves. i know they'd probably be more or less considered gauntlet gloves, but i've looked around the internets and haven't found much of anything. so i thought i'd see if you lovely people had any tips or knew of some patterns or anything. it's greatly appreciated.

my boyfriend and i were squall and selfie from FF VIII. he talked me into it because he already HAD a squall costume... meanwhile i had to MAKE mine. at the last minute. phew.
