Dec. 18th, 2005 06:10 pmWinter holidays are a great time to make more jewelry, ne? Forgive the fact that I have the lousiest camera ever, but feel like showing off anyway.

Greek myths bracelet - Yes, I'm aware I have the worst camera ever and you can hardly see anything, but the bracelet is tiny details from Waterhouse's Echo and Narcissus, Hylas and the Nymphs, Thomas Sully's Ganymede and Aleksandr Ivanov's painting of Achilles and King Priam. All the pictures were cropped and resized in Photoshop, printed on good photo paper, put into little silver tone picture frame charms purchased at Wal-Mart (I totally need to buy more of those charms) and placed on a bracelet interspersed with little pewter charms. I swear, this is much cooler in real life than in those crappy pictures.

I also used one picture frame charm for one of Waterhouse's studies of The Lady of Shalott, since I can so relate to that poem. Actually, I did two using details from The Lady of Shalott, but one of them is going to my mother, and I don't even want to attempt to take more pictures with my stupid camera.
ETA: .... Wow. These pictures are even more horrible than I thought. >_< Sorry. (Eep.)
