Okay, by now I'm sure you're all tired of knifty knitter questions.

But I got mine and of course, I got it because I don't know how to knit and I thought it would be an easy way to learn. But.. I didn't get a book like I'm sure I should have.

So here is my question. I'm not doing hats, I've got tons of those and no one eles in my family seems to like hats, so I've been knitting scarfs, but I'm not too sure on how to tie them off, so, in non-knitting terms and maybe just a tad-dumbed down due to the fact I learn from pictures better than words, can someone help me?

I just ran the needle through my first one really quick and cheaply. But the scarf looks okay I guess.. so, please help.
