This is just a little thing I made for my mum this Christmas. I do photography at school so I did the prints in the darkroom- they're a little bigger than a credit card. Half of them are from a roll of film my mum took when I was really little that I found hidden in my room, the other half from photos I took on a day out with her a couple of weeks ago. She loves gardens and nature, and the old photos are of her (now passed away) mother's garden.

I just sewed like it was a flat belt, and added a strip in the middle to hold the photos in, if that makes sense. Really easy.

Sorry the photos are kind of crappy, my camera's not so good in the winter darkness!



That's it closed. It folds in from both sides, and ties with lace.









The inside, and then with the photos lifting out- there's four in each little pocket.



I'm pleased with it... I mean, it's goofily made and my sewing isn't straight, but i think she'll like it!
