Snow Globe?

Okay, so I suceeded in making one of these, but now I am trying to decided what to do with it.
I think I want to make it into a snow globe for my mom.
Soo questions:

-What should do you put in a snow globe to make it snowy?
-If I were to put a picture or something in it, how do you suppose I should go about it? I dont have access to a laminator thing..?
-How would I seal up the light bulb?
-If this proves to be too difficult of a last minute gift, what else could I do with it?

I dont think this was in the FAQ at all, but if I missed something then please point me in the right direction.
