Earring ... changing?

So there's book altering, clothing surgery... why not Earrings too? I altered a pretty little pair my mom gave me. They were nice as-is, but tended to get lost in my hair and not really show... So!

Just a simple felt ornament/hanging type thing, with a little flat wood frame and laminated photo on the face. This is for his baby Nephew, who he says looks at him as though he's a stranger every time he sees him, because he doesn't really get to see the baby much. So this gives the baby something to see his face more often... *shrug* It was his crazy idea, I just helped make it. XD
