New DIY Community/Review Site

Hello everyone! I'm currently working on a web site called "Mon Coeur Noir" that's going to be a sort of a who's who of crafty DIY ladies. I want it to be a place were someone can search through artist to buy their products, but also learn more about artist through reviews and interviews. I want to have a featured artist of the month to spotlight the extra talented, and have interviews weekly with women who have their own crafty business. There would also be a consignment store directly on the site to bring in more traffic and success for small crafters. Does this sound plausible? Are there already too many sites like this out there? Do you think people would be willing to submit articles about crafting? I really want this to be a top notch site for DIY alternative girls and boys.
Here is a rough draft of what the site would look like :
http://moncoeurnoir.freeservers.com/
As you can see, it's a more on the Punky/Alternative side than most craft sites.
Any feedback is much appreciated. If you would like to submit any articles you have written about DIY, crafts, being a small business owner, or anything of the sort, you can e-mail them to me at moncoeurnoirdiy@aol.com
Thanks!
