knitted scarf

i made this for my mom for her birthday. 100% acrylic (i wanted it to be washable), unfortunately could not be blocked. i tried to iron and it helped a little bit but not enough. she likes it anyhow. i made a pattern on the ends by reversing specific stiches. my grandmother taught me to knit when i was five and now, over a decade later, i finally made something. actually, this is the second knitted scarf i made over winterbreak but i was too lazy to photograph the other one. next i'll attempt a beanie.
