Using a hat I already owned, I made myself a hat pattern this weekend. I made a practice one with cardboard in the brim, then I went out, bought some buckram and cooler fabric, and made another. I like how it turned out, especially the lining. The ribbon is attached with a pin, so it's totally detachable.
