Fine silver chain

I am looking for a cheap source for some really fine [1mm or so, no bigger than 2mm] silver chain.
I found something that looks good on fire Mountian Gems, but it's only sold in 50 foot spools, but there's no reason for me to get so much, nor can I afford $60 on chain I'd use once >_>
