Let me say now that Fun Fur is a whore to work with, knitting OR crocheting! It works up best combined with other yarns (like Lion Boucle or Microspun - I am a Lion Brand patron, yes. LOL), but I still think the person who created it was ever-so-slightly sadistic.

But it IS adorable. It's approximately 4' long (haven't measured it, but it's shorter than some of my other scarves) and veeeeery soft!

YOU WILL NEED:
- 2 skeins Lion Brand Fun Fur in Mexicana (or whatever you want - I made one in black for a friend, because I like to suffer)
- size I (9.00 mm) crochet hook

Chain 15. Double crochet in second chain from hook and each chain across: 13 dc. Chain 3, turn.

Double crochet in second stitch from hook and each chain across: 13 dc. Chain 3, turn.

Repeat until yarn is used up. Weave in ends.

Easy pattern, yeah, but doing anything more complicated would have made me scream!

I'm about 3/4 way through an afghan made with Jiffy Thick'n'Quick in Rocky Mountains, and it's my very first afghan! My mom taught me to crochet when I was 10 and she's spent her life making baby afghans, adult afghans and white thread Christmas ornaments - she is very talented and much more patient than I am.

I've also made a scarf out of Moda Dea 'Ticker Tape' yarn, which is hella pricey for craft store yarn ($9/skein, which only got me through half the scarf, even using the most economical pattern I could think of), and I'll put that up on my website someday with the pattern. :)

w00t, crocheting r0x!
