dear crafters,

i desperately need your help. i've kept up with the community for a whiiiiile and i apologize for not posting anything worthwhile but i'm at school and all of my crafting supplies are at home. i reeeeeally miss my linoleum printing supplies and my acrylics....

anyway, i need a sewing machine. i've been trying to learn to sew for years, and actually got a singer for my birthday but it broke and my mother returned it and never got another. so i'm looking on ebay. i don't have much to spend but i'm willing to save up a couple paychecks... i'd prefer something around $100 but not if that's not going to get me any quality. so here's my search... any recommendations? i had read that brothers were good for beginners...

i'd love to go to a used sewing machine store, and i'm sure there's one in the area, but i don't really know where to look.
