Some crafty pics

Just wanted to share some crafty things that came out really good. Mostly from last year & x-mas presents. Lots of pics behind the cut.



The above earrings and necklace I made from copper flashing leftover from the geodesic dome house I'm building. One pair of earrings I heated with a propane torch to turn the copper black and old looking. One pair I soaked in salt & lemon juice to turn them verdigree.


Earrings I made for a cousin for x-mas sterling silver & turquoise.


Earrings I made for another cousin. Sterling silver, lapis & bamboo.


32 Catnip mice I made for my cats and the shelter kitties. Stuffed with catnip I grew in the summer.Oh & Josie the calico kitty picking out her toy.


Necklace I made for a friend. Glass beads, sterling silver wrapped & soldered Chrysanthemum stone.


Necklace I made for my mother. Awesome piece of turquoise wrapped in silver wire & soldered. Turquoise & wood beads.


Necklace I made and sold. Glass beads & sterling silver fairy.


Necklace I made my future mother & law. Glass beads. Dalmation Jasper cab set in a silver plated filligree setting.


Blurry pic, but it's a tote I made by Grandmother for her B-Day. Made from tapestry upholstery samples, pocket on front has her initials machine embroidered on it.


A little bag I sold. Made from corduroy with a layered felt flower applique.


Apron top I custom made for someone with an owl applique.


A top I sold, I just liked how the bird applique came out.


Apron dress & petticoat I sold. This started out as an apron top and I just kept going with it. Then I had to make a matching skirt.
