craftgrrl | Anyone make (clay/ceramic) beads?

Hi. I just found these amazing little beads from this magazine. I feel in love with them and now I must have one! The only problem is they're $10 a pop, and while they're very much worth it, Im on a bit of a shoe string budget.

They're tiny hearts that have words printed on them. I'mwondering if anyone here has made their own clay/ceramic beads such as this? If you have and would be willing to offer one up to me, or know where I can find them at a lower price, please let me know :)
