Feb. 15th, 2006 02:01 amHi! I'm new here, so far it's been awesome seeing people's projects and getting lots of ideas. Right now I'm just sorta crocheting aimlessly, hats and scarves that will probably end up getting dropped off at the homeless shelter. Here's a roundup of some other projects I've finished in the past few months...

This mask was a project for a charity auction. By the time I was done making it, I was absolutely sick of it- but it made $47 for hurricane relief, and that's pretty awesome.

A crocheted cozy for my iPod. This was a first attempt- it ended up being a little bulky, and the yarn I chose gets dirty awfully quickly. I've made a new one since that's similar, but plain grey wool.

A friend commissioned me to make this rosary for her to give as a Christmas gift. The beads are amethyst, Czech glass, and silver. I'm super-happy with the way this turned out, but wish I had a better photo of it.

Another Christmas gift, a travel journal for a friend who is doing a semester abroad. There are blank pages, maps, poems, and topics for writing (like "look out the window, what do you see?", and "what are your roommates like?"). It's bound with white duct tape.
