Update on WWRF Vending
Feb. 22nd, 2006 03:22 pmDear all....
Remember my hopeful post about being a vendor for the WWRF? I was going to be showing and selling pieces from my Silver Leaves Collection (mostly)....pieces that look like this...

A lot of people asked me to post an update about how things went. Well, I'll spare you the full rant/whimperage about that disaster unless you really want details, but suffice to say, because of the failure of others to do their jobs, my work was never shown or sold.
My advice to you all?
1) Do not trust FedEx.
2) If you have to trust FedEx, make sure that your contract with a conseignee for a particular event includes a clause about how their "custody" of your goods, during which their contracted responsibilities apply, starts when your goods arrive at their local FedEx facility, assuming FedEx does not manage to deliver.
This has been a public service announcement brought to you by the letter R and the sound of screaming.
