Buttoned stuffed animals
Feb. 22nd, 2006 11:44 pmI saw a stuffed sheep at a thrift store that had buttons connecting the legs onto the body visibly (as in the buttons sewn onto the front of the arms and legs connecting them to the body). I know I've seen these stuffies before with like country themed house decor, and such. I tried doing a google search for pics/design descriptions since I'd like to make a couple things like that myself and all I found were designs with the buttons on the side.
Does anyone own a stuffy like this yourself you can take a pic of, or point me to a website about making them? I swear I'll post pics of my "super creative" projects once I make them *G*
It sounds like a dumb question, but I want to know how the heads are connected so I can make these things as "real" as possible :) I'd like to make sculpted miniatures of these, and maybe some sewn patchwork ones. I'm going through my 2nd (or maybe I'm just still in my first ;0P) childhood and think some of those in dog designs around the house would be adorable, plus something to add to my already existing sale inventory.
