My husband's cool new bag, made by yours truly.

I did the 2 interior pockets, one for utensils and one for a cell or glasses case.
Also on the front exterior under the flap there is an outside pocket.

Fabric is gray twill for the outside and a red nylon for the inside linings.
I embroidered the star on with felt and DMC thread.
Bag has sturdy interfacing throughout and was sewn with heavy duty thread for long-lasting durability, or something. Do I sound like a commercial?

Anyway, this was the first bag I made like this, I used a pattern to cut the pieces but then used various online tutorials to actually put it together.

It was pretty easy overall, save for the pulling of a huge thick, interfaced bag through the smallish hole in the lining, it was like birthing a small mammal or something. The bag was very wrinkled when it first came out, and it was a little tough to iron, but the finished product looked nice.

Here is my man:

He likes it! And I do too.

Thanks for looking!

Cheers to all you fine ladies.
