Mar. 7th, 2006 06:33 pmI haven't posted here in *forever* because I'm so terribly slack about taking photos, but anyway - here's some pictures I got together recently.

Bag I crocheted from lots of old random coloured bits and pieces and black wool which I actually went out and *bought* (usually I rely on my grandmothers and their stashes for supplies). I was lazy and never finished it off properly but it's not too obvious from the outside.

Bag I made from a brand new old (if that makes sense) teatowel inherited from my great aunt's extensive manchester collection. My favourite feature is the stamp (which you can't see here) that says '100% linen, made in Czechoslovakia'. Lined with plain calico. For some reason it proved incredibly difficult to take a decent photo of.

Little pink fluffy scarf I crocheted to slip in my pocket on the two days of the year when it's actually cold enough to wear a scarf. I'm not really a pink person, but it's soft and not at all itchy and brightens up my faded old jacket.

Purple scarf I crocheted for the handful of days on either side of the two days of the year when it's actually cold enough to wear the pink fluffy scarf!

Green felt monster mobile phone cover. It was a birthday present for my mum in April last year and it's had a lot of attention since then (she's a primary school teacher and all her kids wanted to play with it) so it's looking pretty ratty these days. I never managed to get a better photo before it started falling apart.

CD cover I made one weekend when I was in need of some pointless busy work. I painted over the pages of an old Mills and Boon book (inherited from the great aunt of the stripey teatowel bag fame) and chopped up the letters. I also cut out and saved a pile of amusing euphemisms about 'throbbing manhoods' (menhood?) and 'intimate crevices' and such to use for some future project....
But that's all for now, thanks for looking!
