This is a tent I made for my kids for Valentine's Day. I'm just now getting to posting. But my three year old son is always putting a blanket over the almost 1 year old and asking her to come into his "tent". So I figured I would make them a real tent. This turned out much larger than I had anticipated but I wanted to use the rest of the material left from the roman shades I made for their playroom. My son was especially thrilled when he saw it and that made my day. My house is kind of small so I really couldn't get a decent shot of the tent. But here it is:

I loosely based the consturction around these instructions: http://www.sewing.org/enthusiast/html/esb_simple-shade-tent.html
But I used longer material, added flaps, and used pvc pipe instead of dowel rods. The kids love playing in it.
Here's a close-up of the material. Their playroom has opposite walls that are the yellow color and the adjacent walls are the medium green color. It is a fun room!
