Hello, I am writing a research paper for my English 101 class. My topic is why people still do crafts, when almost everything you would want can be bought in a store.
I need some answers from other people, and if you know of a specific article in a magazine, or if you know of a self-published zine, please let me know.

The question is: why do you do crafts?

Here are the reasons I have thought of:

-The things you want cannot be bought in a store.
-It is more gratifying to make something yourself than to just buy it.
-It is cheaper to make some things.
-You are against consumerism.
-It is fun.
