Cross-stitch decisions
Mar. 16th, 2006 03:09 pmAlright girls, I have a dilemma.
I am ALMOST done with a cross-stitch for my week-old niece that I started before she was born, and had no problems so far. But now, in the last steps, I DO have a problem.
For s cross-stitch that marks her birth, is it better to have her first and last name or her first and middle name on the nameplate section? The instructions give no insight into this, so I'm stumped. And I tried, and there is no way to fit all three names onto the plate.
So which is more proper for hanging in a nursery/bedroom? First and last? First and middle? Help!
EDIT:: Thanks to everyone who commented, I'll be going with first/middle. I'll be sure to post the finished product (framed and unframed) here before I hand it over to my brother and sister-in-law. They have no idea what I've been up to. X3
