Mar. 27th, 2006 09:49 pmOkay, I'm having a problem.
I'm trying to do a single crochet. I can do the chain stitch, no problem.
So I put the hook through the v's, and then I wrap the yarn around it. Then, I pull it through a loop. Do I do this once, or twice? Like I wrap it around, pull it through the first loop, then do I do it again, or no? The exact instructions I am reading say:
Insert the hook in the second chain stitch through the center of the V bring the yarn over.
Ok, got that.
Then, it says draw the yarn over through the chain stitch and onto the hook. Again, bring yarn over the hook from back to forn and draw it though both loops of the hook.
What what what??? Do this makes me think, I kind of do it twice...if that makes sense. And then at the end of the row, I'm supposed to do a chain stitch, correct? I'm sorry for all the questions, it's just like every book I look in is different, and I'm getting frusterated. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much in advance!!!
Tara
