Zombie Brian
Mar. 29th, 2006 11:15 pmFor my boyfriend's birthday this year back in January I knitted him a zombie doll in his likeness.. I named him
Zombie Brian

Z.B. before he eats this poor mortals' brain.

Kind of a bad pic, but you can see what i did with his glasses (nail polish blood spatter). By the way the redness on his face and arm are supposed to be where he's sort of ripped open and bleed-y.

I don't know WHY boys insist on defiling stuffed animals. It was not the boy who I made it for who did this though. Thank goodness. Anyway. You can see his whole body in this picture.

The boy he was modeled after. Note: he always wears the same sweatshirt with the dragonfly on it, glasses, and hugely flared jeans.
can you find me in this picture? :D

And them together. again, fuzzy. Seems like we should have more decent pictures of the doll considering that I made it in January. But. OH WELL.
This was my first sort of advanced knitting project. I'm very proud of it. and Brian (not zombie) loves it. so I'm happy.
The idea was inspired by the knitted zombies that we found here:

I also took a whack at CD earring and they turned out great

My kina cluttered table.. excuse me please.. I used a normal CD for the sort of green ones.. and then a purple CD for the more.. purple...ones. You'll also note my v. v. cute oragami cat paper to the left, and ontop of that a toothbrush bracelet that I made a while ago.
Oh yes! And here's the link to the CD earring instuctions. I left mine in the overn for about 7mins. Mine didn't turn out nearly as bright as hers.. but i think that they still look pertty good. :D
