craftgrrl | birthday scarf and knitted sushi.

today is my friend kassy's birthday, and this is what i made for her:

i stitched the felt whales on using black yarn and an oversized darning needle. there are whales on both sides of each end of the scarf, but that was difficult to photograph.

i'm going to put it in one of the "jane fonda's work out record" record bowls (posted a while back) with some delicious koala yummies for her gift.

and i've also made a few of these knitted sushi rolls using the tutorial in the faq/memories section under "knitting." if you're the one who posted it, you are great.
