Thanks sooo much to everyone who suggested questions and writing prompts for the travel journal. I re-worded a lot of the questions, but used almost everyone's suggestions. I gave it to my friend today at the airport, and he loved it- he even cried a little.

Here's a photo of the finished book and a list of the questions I put inside:




Journal made from matboard, maps, Mod Podge, and white duct tape. I filled it with heavy-ish stock sketch paper and bound it with dental floss (because it's strong and lays flat... and smells minty!), and used beading elastic to keep it closed.

-What’s the funniest/strangest thing you’ve experienced on the tube?

-What is the biggest difference you’ve noticed between Americans and Britons?
-Coolest thing you’ve seen so far?
-What’s outside your window right now?
-Draw something you saw today:
-Are you buying me presents? / Are they good presents?
-Are you sending postcards to anyone?
-What’s the best “tourist-y” thing that you’ve done?
-Best thing you’ve eaten? Worst? What’s your take on British food?
-What have you learned on this trip?
-Is there something you’ll do differently next time you travel?
