well, the tower passed. thank you for all your encouraging comments. just to clarify, it wasn't a competition, it was a project for a 3D design course. the towers had to be 18" tall with the diagonal of the cross-section no more than 4". i photographed everyone else's towers for your enjoyment and inspiration. we all passed.
