craftgrrlShort question: Has anyone tried, or know of someone who has tried to screenprint on nylon? Did it work?
I've screen printed cotton tshirts/sweatshirts before, and those have turned out fine: no fading or peeling through the wash, etc.
I'm now looking to print on nylon jackets, but since most inks need to be heat set and nylon has a low melting point, I want to figure out what I can do with screenprinting on nylon. I know it can be done, since plenty of custom logo companies sell screenprinted nylon garments, but I need to know if there's a way I can do it without the commercial equipment. An iron or laundromat dryer?
