So this weekend, my parents came home with a surprise for me. :)
I've been looking at sewing machines, but just haven't had the extra money to splurge for one.
They were doing their weekend yard sale thing and stopped at one where a woman had singer sewing machines that she was selling for $5 each! My parents decided to get me one, they said if it didn't work at least they only spent $5 on it.
Well, it works really well! :)
I put together an ugly little bag, just to play with stitching and such.
Then I was inspired by a post on the craftster boards, where someone made a camera cozy.
I'm really rough on my camera (haha, ie-getting hit hard in a Halifax pit) I decided to make it a cozy little sleeping bag, from flannel and fleece. :)









I was pleased, for it being my first sewing project!
