Getting Started
May. 4th, 2006 09:44 pmHi! My name is Cassie, and I’m new to the wonderful world of crafts. I have tried to do a lot of things in the past, but I couldn’t because I never hard the right tools and products. So I was wondering if you wonderful people could help me to come up with a list of things I should buy this weekend for my “craft box”.
I have been making tee shirts for a while with iron-ons and fabric markers, but they don’t seem to hold up well, so I’m going to try silk-screening them. I also like to fool around with duct tape, I’m pretty good at making wallets and purses. I tried sewing, and lets just say that needs some work, but I am very interested in becoming good at it. I also like things made with items from around the house. In the future, I want to work with clay…but not right now.
I hope that from that you can tell what I want to do and can give me some good ideas of what I should buy to get started. If you could post the brand that you use that would be awesome too. Thanks a ton in advance.
