Hello All,

Seeing how today is Mothers Day, I thought Id post my mom’s gift. Luckily you don’t need to be rich in order to be crafty. I’m completely broke, but I whipped this up with whatever I had in my craft bin. It’s not much, but my mom loved it.

It started with plain white card stock

Then I added Felt flowers, a butterfly, and 3 strips of color. They’re held together with some glue and then I added a stitch of white thread

Then I printed out my text and signed it (sloppy I know)

Envelope made of Christmas wrapping paper. Folded and glued so the print would be on the inside

Add a black overcast (?) stitch on the card, but for the envelope I just used a black marker in fear of it ripping

Close Up of the stitching. (Not the best, I was up till like 2 ha-ha)

And of course my mom needed flowers! Why not give her ones that would never die? I used white pipe cleaners because that’s the only color I had.

And finally, all set up so she can wake up to it in the morning  

So there ya go, my crafty no cost gift.
