Well after being inspired by tealeaf_sales and stolenmilkcrate, I'm learning to work with polymer clay and I made these this weekend! Everything is still pretty rough, but I'm learning.

Leetle girl, golden calf, polka dotted pig, and awesome opossum turtle.


Another view. I think I'll use a lighter green on turtles next time, it shows up better in person.


The lop-sided girl was the first thing I made. I love me the penguins.


The boy came out looking more like Torg from Sluggy Freelance than my boyfriend.

I'm going to put another coat of future floor polish (which smells remarkable good and citrus-y for floor polish) on the pig, cow, and penguin and make them into jewelry. The crazy pig and cow are going to go on a cell phone lanyard and the penguins will be earrings. I can't wait to wear them!
On a whole, the painting ain't as good as it could be, but I was working with some old acrylics I found in the back of my closet...so they were kind of wonky and I didn't have the proper materials for blending and such. Now that I know I like it, I might invest a little more money in the future.
