Hey everyone!

I bought this purse a while ago, but I haven't used it that much. The reason is that part of the purse is an old painting done on black velvet, and the paint chips off when I use it.




This is the part that I'm talking about - the part in the middle.


This is the front of the purse, just incase you are curious.

So my question is: is there anything that I can spray on or put on the painting to make it not chip off? Whatever I put on would have to be flexible and not make the purse stiff.
