After my much-loved pink messenger bag from Target ripped irreparably, I decided to make my own replacement. This is a couple months old.

Black canvas stuff, blue plaid...something, a too-big Neutral Milk Hotel band shirt, a blue-and-black striped knee sock whose wife was never found, and a car seat belt.

Closer look at the front flap. The speech bubbles on the image say "somewhere soft and safe and without maggots," one word each.

Under the flap live the main, largest pocket in the back, a smaller blue pocket sewn onto that, and a small black pocket just right for my cell phone and business cards sewn onto that. I was surprised by how much the bag holds.

Who is this beautiful model? I wish to hire her for my agency immediately!
Craft viewer bonus: I liked the ragdoll I posted here yesterday so much that I stenciled her onto my mother's linen closet door with acrylic paint when she was out one fine day.
