Jun. 29th, 2006 06:10 pmOk crafty people, I have one question and some showing off to do. First, I was wondering if you guys know of any cool places to get interesting or different art/posters online or specific artists that you enjoy. I'm looking to decorate my blank walls and I'm tired of the same old stuff that you find on art.com or allposters.com. Alright, now that is over with, let's get on to my crafts!
I got my first set of shrinky dinks and was so proud of them, I thought that I would share them with you guys. Also, I have some knitting projects at the bottom.
This is a name necklace I made for myself. I got the idea off a post from Craftster. :)

Close up!

My boyfriend is an NPS ranger at gettysburg, pa and so I made him this. I'm not sure what i'm going to do with it, I was thinking keychain or magnet. (Sorry the picture is a bit blurry, it's not like that in real life, promise!)

This is for my boyfriend's little sister. She's 7 and loves pink and soccer. I made it into a necklace, but forgot to take a picture. it's cute :)

andddd, this is for my mom. It's the logo from her company. As you can see, i made it into a keychain for her.

And now to the knitting....
These are socks that i knit for my boyfriend, he's very into civil war re-enacting, so i
knit these for him from a pattern based on real civil war soldier socks. I can't find the exact pattern, but i got it from this website.

This is a baby sweater that I knit for no one in particular, I guess it'll sit around until someone I know has a baby!
